Jimei Building, completed in 2024, is the main teaching building in the Xiangmi Campus. Its name is derived from Zuo Tradition:“Each generation continues the excellence of the previous one and preserves its good name.” “Jimei”means to continue the previous excellence and promote virtuous arts, symbolizing the passing of knowledge and skills from one generation to the next. For a campus specializing in art,“Jimei”carries deeper significance. It not only continues artistic traditions and craftsmanship, but also emphasizes conveying the spirit of excellence and the pursuit of goodness and beauty in contemporary design practice. Here, studentsengage with cutting-edge design languages and creative methods, while embracing the ethos of upholding aestheticheritage, refining craftsmanship, and nurturing both moral integrity and professional competence.
