The Jinyuan Student Residential Complex is located in the eastern corner of the Xili Campus(Liuxiandong Area), consisting of 12 dormitories built between 2003 and 2004, with the addition of dormitory Building G in 2023. Jinyuan has basketball courts, three dining halls, and five colleges, collectively serving as a place for students to live and study. The name“Jinyuan”(Brocade Garden) conveys the idea of“treasuring brocade within a garden, with a promising future ahead.”In Chinese culture,“Jin (brocade)”symbolizes brilliance and prosperity. The name therefore expresses the University’s hope that students will enjoy bright and successful futures, while also evoking the vibrant and richly woven experiences of campus life within the complex. It reflects an educational environment where comfortable living and personal cultivation are harmoniously integrated.
